Petition to Bring Back Seunghan in RIIZE Rises to 200k + BRIIZEs to Have Scheduled Protest in Front of SM

Following the Seunghan's withdrawal from RIIZE, BRIIZEs started organizing a petition and protest to demand his return to the group.

On Oct. 13th, SM Entertainment announced that RIIZE would re-organize as a 6-member group after Seunghan's departure.

Initially, the label supported his return, but due to OT6 K-BRIIZEs who sent 1,000 funeral wreaths in front SM's building, they renounced their initial position.

When international BRIIZEs and the K-pop community learned about this news, they were truly disappointed about how the label only considered the voices of the Korean fans, when they had been protesting for Seunghan's return for 10 months after his hiatus in November last year.

On Oct. 14th, Seunghan was spotted visiting the flower wreaths alone looking devastated on top of the RIIZE members, such as Sohee, crying after the news.

Upon seeing the trauma they are suffering, the fandom community united to show their support for him and started a petition to bring Seunghan back to the team.

Through change.org, a petition titled, "We want Seunghan back! Riize is 7!!!!!", is gaining traction and has now 182,000 verified signs, as of the writing.

On Oct. 19th and 20th, BRIIZEs also organized a demo protest in front of SM Entertainment's building to counter their initial decision.

For those who can't attend, an ongoing boycott of SM artists through SNS, album, and merchandise sales is being executed.

Currently, SM Entertainment is yet to respond to this movement.
